She is best known as a member of the girl group “Katseye,” which was created in 2023 through a reality show called “Dream Academy.” She was previously a contestant on the 13th season of So You Think You Can Dance in 2016.

Career
Avanzini’s career in dance started with his attendance at local competitions in Atlanta, but he soon moved on to international stages. When she was seven years old, she took part in the international competition “Super Kids Europe” in 2011, and was the first runner up at the event. Daniela was 8 years old when she first made an appearance on Univision’s Sábado Gigante performing a choreographed jive routine. She competed as a samba dancer with her partner Yasha Jeltuhin in 2013’s eighth season of America’s Got Talent in Vegas. She also did So You Think You Can Dance: The Next Generation when she was a young teen.
In 2020, Avanzini was a dance guest in the latest revival of the American children’s television series Wonderama, for an original choreography with a salsa, hip-hop, acrobatic and jazz style. She has also made a cameo in MattyBRaps’ music video for “Dramatic” in 2021.
Avanzini took part in the Dream Academy contest reality show to produce a “global girl group” in 2021 for the global label Hybe and Geffen Records. Her performance impressed judges with her singing and dancing abilities, and was one of the 20 performances selected for the 2023 contest. She managed to finally get third place, earning her seat in the final girl group Katseye, [Netflix’s Katseye Member Profile], and becoming the first Latin American to sign with Hybe.
Avanzini then appeared in the track ‘Let Me Tell You’ of South Korean singer Yeonjun’s extended playing album No Labels: Part 01 on November 7, 2025. In August 2026, the single “Animal” by Daniela Avanzini and global hit group KATSEYE reached a record high No. 24 on the U.S. Billboard Hot 100, their fifth consecutive single to appear on the chart and their highest chart debut ever.
