Walker Lyons is an American tight end football player in BYU Cougars who was born on March 13, 2004.

The tight end was in headlines before using the transfer portal at the end of the 2025 season, he was already a part of the USC Trojans, and publicly declared his relationship with Dancing with the Stars dancer Rylee Arnold in October 2024.

He began playing at the University of Southern California in 2024.

USC lost Walker Lyons, a highly requested college tight end with a receiving habit to two touchdowns, to BYU in January 2026 after he had his best sophomore season with 20 passes receiving 223 yards and two touchdowns.

This is a highly-rated high school recruit out of Folsom, California who was chosen an All-American with his athleticism and ability to catch.

He grew to be an important offensive weapon even though he missed his rookie year at USC because of injuries and he was also close to his brother Ryder, a recently recruited BYU quarterback.
